So I decided to actually prepare for my next move for once and I spent the entire day yesterday packing up 99% of my stuff into boxes :p Now I just need to wait til the 17th to move it :p |

So I just woke up from a crazy zombie apocalypse dream.
It started with a bunch of friends hanging out outside my house and we were playing with fire and one of the girls caught on fire. Instead of dying she got this weird look and had turned into a zombie and began to attack everyone. Thus begins the apocalypse.
The dream phased out and I was in a city that looked like one of the levels in COD4. We were behind bunkers and there were 5-10 zombies on the other side. We somehow had really nice guns (I had a sniper!) and we started attacking. We took out most of them and more came from up behind us so we ran out into the city and (Drake you were in it!) Drake jumped on a hovercraft thing (like out of star wars) and I hopped into the back to shoot. I ran out of ammo so we swung by what looked like the aftermath of other fights and I grabbed another gun looking more alien like. When we realized we were being chased we turned down a corner and ended up in another part of town that was futuristic/Indian influenced (Indian not native american). We pass by a bunch of cloaked people who didn't seem to be worrying too much about the oncoming trouble. We bust into a school house where a teacher is teaching a class of kindergartners.
We warn them to go into the basement and they slowly trickle down there. Once we were all in there we heard a crash from the ventilation system and I go to investigate. I slowly open the giant vent and a I hear loud grunting as a hand shoots out at me. I tried to kick it in the face but it had a tight grip on me and I couldn't knock it out. Just when I was about to get bit, everything freezes and turns this weird blue/green color and rewinds to when we heard the crash. A girl pulls up a cell phone looking device and exclaims "I'm glad I charged the [whatever the device was called] when I did." Apparently she could control time with it, so we planned more tactfully for the oncoming attack and destroyed the zombies trying to get through the vent.
Now that we had the ability to time travel, we decided to go back to stop the infection from starting. We went back 2 years, and I had memories of my uncle telling me to go to a certain address so we backed up in time and I found a piece of paper in my pocket. It had an address and instructions to find a blue-green plant growing outside there. We made it to the building and found the plant, and discovered that it was the one thing that warded off zombies. We didn't have the time to stop the infection but this time around when we were at my house it was surrounded by the plant. Apparently my uncle had took precautions to protect us. So we got everyone inside the house but unfortunately one got bit before we did. I quickly grabbed some of the plant and chewed on it, then breathed in the zombies face. It seemed to have a temporary paralyzing effect, so we easily took him out. We then prepared to take on the rest of the world with our new discovery, and that is when I woke up. |

So yesterday I went down to Cocoa Beach with Rob, his roommates, and a friend of theirs and his gf. We stayed at a time share they had in Orlando which was HUGE and had a giant jacuzzi that we all managed to fit in with massive amounts of bubbles :-0! Lot of pics later. At the beach we went surfing! It was my first time surfing and I am happy that I managed to stand up a few times (even if it was only for a few seconds :p). Twas really fun. Although I got a bit sunburnt but thats okay ^^;; was worth it. We played charades before we left for home too and funniest one (in my opinion) was rob trying to do "Mime on fire."
hehe. August 15-16th we are all taking a trip down to the keys to go diving/snorkling if anyone wants to join! It's gonna be awesome :D $80 for dive equipment and $25 for snorkling fees (to get boated out to the reef). |

So we went out to Orlando for the Sum 41 and Offspring concert! It was at the Hard Rock and was awesome :D
Sum 41 had an incredible stage presence -- and they played all of my favorite songs <3
Went with a bunch of Robs friends who are awesome ^^;; and I finally met another girl who plays 40k and wow! :D *excited* except she lives in Orlando but stillll
Today Rob and I went to an animal shelter to check out their animals -- I found the most perfect dog ever. He's a mutt and is 30 lbs and wont grow much more -- he's excited and cuddly and loves everyone and gives me hugs and kisses and I want himmmm :( Unfortunately it's a first come first serve adoption so I hope my rents will let me adopt him before he gets adopted by someone else :(
The place wouldn't let me adopt the husky or German Shepard since i'm living in an apartment and not a house with a yard :( Its understandable but stillll ... |

yay for lazy rainy days.
Had a 6 am - 12 pm shift at work today but now I have the house to myself while Ronin and Rob are at work. Been starting to sketch again, got a couple of cool books on the subject to get me more motivated (including a rad how to draw dinosaurs book!! <3).
Went to Busch Gardens the other day with Rob and his roommates -- unfortunately Sheikra was closed *sniffles* still haven't gotten to ride it. It was like 95 degrees out so we decided to wait the 45 minutes to go on the Congo River Rapids -- we finally do and get soaking wet and the second we get off the ride it starts pouring out. lolz. After eating dinner at applebees we went to their house for a night pool party! Twas awesome -- and they have the nicest doggy everrr. ^^;; I want a puppyyyy
So now I need to just take my car in to get fixed and start apartment hunting for the fall! I'm so excited to have a more perminant place of my own :) |

wheeee.
Abney Park and Arc Attack concerts were AWESOME!! Abney park is a steampunk band that sounds like they should be playing on an airship. Seriously, I wanna be a pirate when I listen to their music.
Arc Attack is one of the most unique and coolest concerts i've been too -- they take two giant tesla coils that shoot electricity at eachother and they actually make music with it! They played a bunch of video game theme songs and ended with the imperial march hehe Their final comment was "I hope you all had a good nerdgasm!" xD

First day of Metrocon was really fun :D
Went to a bunch of panels and got some neat tricks for my character drawing in photoshop. There was a little fire show (shinnnyyy) and an awesome rave. Met a really cool guy name Robert whose studying criminology at USF and was wearing a Muse shirt :D. And I had glowsticks! whee
Funniest moment of the night: Dancing at the rave when random guy comes up and hands me a spoon.
*my thoughts * ... I has a spoon! (my spoon is too big?)
Robert decorated it with glowy strings to make it an uber epic glowy spoon. yay!

I decided since I am teaching myself Maya to learn to make 3d graphics for video games (and movie effects) I might as well teach myself how to program as well. It would look a lot better to a gaming company if I knew both how to make and animate graphics as well as how to program it into the game :)
So I am currently teaching myself c++ as well. I'm surprised at how easy it is -- for once something makes sense and is actually sticking in my memory :D. It's kinda interesting how I went in a full circle of what I wanted to do when I grew up --
When I was 9 I wanted to be a video game programmer and I went and asked the guy at gamestop what I could use to do that and he sold me a copy of visual c++. I managed to teach myself a bit but at that age it was a lot harder to comprehend and I soon gave up that dream. Then I got certified for SCUBA and have been known as the marine bio girl since. So I guess it's ironic that after 10 years I've gone back to my original dream :p |

Today I finally stood up to Cassia.
I told Sarah the yesterday that Ronin would be coming to hang out with me while I finished my projects today and advised her to not bring Cassia, but of course Cassia still came today to make trouble. So Ronin didn't wanna deal with her bullshit and left while I was stuck in a reallyyy awkward situation, since I needed to finish my projects but I couldn't concentrate because Cassia was there. (For anyone reading this that doesn't know the situation, here;s a quick recap: Cassia got jealous of me over something that wasn't even true, she turned all but 2 of my friends against me and made herself out the be the victim.)
After about a minute I finally turned to her and told her I was uncomfortable with her being there because she had tried to turn all my friends against me and kept calling security on Ronin for bullshit reasons such as "not feeling safe" despite her being in the room laughing for 2 HOURS. She claimed that it was "the school told her to call if she ever saw him on campus again and that she didn't say she felt unsafe." Right. That's why you fucking called them twice in the span of an hour. She's such a liar. So she finally left. Even though i'm sure the rest of her posse will think I had no reason for it, I did because my schoolwork was on the line.
One a happier note --
I learnt how to throw on the potters wheel today! Took me a good 2 hours to get it down but I made a really cool vase and a teapot and some cups :) yayy |

So we went by the SPCA today to see what they had for volunteering positions and they have people who get to play with the cats and dogs to keep them happy. I'm so doing that :D There was a really adorable kitten that I fell in love with but my rents don't want me to get one :( *sigh* I miss having something to cuddle with :( |

So Ronin and I are casted into another movie! This time is an independent horror/drama film :D I actually have a decent amount of speaking parts and they are letting me make the movie poster and helping with editing!! So that'll be great for my major! Best part? Our directors renting out the Muvico in Baywalk for the premeire! :D |

First day of class was fun :D (I'm taking clay I)
There are only 3 people in it including me (and one is Sarah!). I love summer classes.
We spent the first half picking up materials at a clay store in st pete (adventure time!) and then ranson (the professor) was like "anyone mind if we go to cafe bohemia and get some coffee?"

I'm really proud of the background -- and I'm finally starting to get proportions right! except her head is still a bit big for her body but thats okayyyy it's still badass. That's Rhea, my rougue for my new dnd campain i'm running with some friends from work :)
Ohh also--
So i forgot my cell and ronin had my car, thus he had no way to know when to get me. He came by best buy at like 9:30 pm, but I was in the bathroom. When I got out my friend Dani was like:
"so this really sketchy guy in a black trench coat comes in with his hand in his pocket asking for you. I was ready to shank some bitches." lololz |

I finally got my foot checked out today -- no fracture, it's just badly bruised.
I got 5 more things of couscous whooo!!
I've recently gotten addicted to the show Chuck, and I had a little marathon before I went into work ... at Best Buy ... the other day. I kept feeling like some big spy situation was gonna come up :p
Hanging out with the people from my work more often now -- went to IHOP with mike the other day and I was invited to a warhammer 40k tourny being hosted by another one of my friends there. I feel special, it's invite only :p Now I just need to finish painting my necrons ... I decided i'm gonna put green LED lights in my monolith. Was also discussing how rad it would be if I could make it hover. FEAR MY GRAVITY DEFYING MONOLITH! PEW PEW PEW!!
I finally finished moving all of my stuff out of my dorm and into the house. I really hope they weren't serious about that $100 every day you are late in moving out policy. It was my fault though, cause I should have done it sooner. So no one to blame but myself :)
Bandit seems to be liking her new spot in the kitchen. She's been out and about exploring a lot. I just made oven pizza ... i wonder if Milo would like my meatballs on it. *goes to find out*
nope, apparently Milo is not a fan of meatballs. Oh well. that's about it for now! ... I think the neighborhood cat got just got in another fight with the local racoon. It sounds epic out there ... |

So the semester is finally done and I am 90% done moving everything out of my dorm room into our house in gulfport :P
I guess here's a little good/bad list to simplify my thoughts:
+++ awesome house for summer
-- was infested with fleas from the previous owners
+ flea bombed it
--- but was too late and now I look like a zombie from all my bug bites
- giant fucking beetles outside
+++ Stevie devours them (it's badass)
+ Got to blow a glass cup at the artwalk a few weeks ago
+ Waiting to hear back if I got an internship there for the summer
+ Done with all my classes
- got a c+ in psyche *grrrrrrrz*
+ summer clay class starts next week
+ hours are increasing at work
++ STRAWBERRIES!!
--- my legs iccchhhhhh (damn you bugs)
+++++ DAVIDS COMING BACK FROM FRANCE ON WEDNESDAY!!!!
++ Ronin picked up a hot guy for me at the beach :p
--- he smokes and I don't date smokers
++ still flattered that he gave me his number and told me to call though
+++ found out a ton of people at work DnD and warhammer 40k so I can actually get some use out of my armies

One the note of drama, I feel the summer will hopefully clear up the air. Not that it worked out that way last year, but that's okay cause the people involved are a lot more mature than certain people *cough* who hide in bushes instead of confronting the truth (literally).
I guess only the future knows what'll happen next. |
